Huawei Ascend W1 was unveiled earlier, a Windows Phone 8 device targeted at the low end. Looks like Huawei is at it again with a followup to that. Now at the high end if we are to go with some specs that have surfaced in the interwebs.
Huawei Ascend W2 is expected to be a 4.3 inch device with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720. A processor backing of QUalcomm’s S4 1.5GHz and a RAM of 1GB will power the internals. The design going by the picture accompanying the specs is curvy, unlike the Huawei Ascend W1 which is more block shaped. We cant tell how the rear would look like but the camera is listed as an 8MP with Full HD video capture and there seems to be a front camera on the photo. A 2000 mAh battery is the last of the available specs. Missing elements and quite important are the storage size, and storage options, whether battery is removable and minor specifics like dimensions and weight.
The leaks mention a price of $289 which is quite impressive, the other Windows phone from Huawei, the Ascend W1 is retailing at around $179 with much lower specs.
