Now that Nokia has established it’s position in the Windows Phone sector, they are naturally going to be pace-setters in the field, just like Samsung is in Android. Samsung already did with large phones the size of life, called them Galaxy Note. This was to define a niche that has now since become commonplace.

Well, we know that Nokia has been a bit reserved when it comes to devices sizes ant it’s just only recently that Nokia announced a mid range device with the largest screen on a Nokia so far at 4.7 inches. Rumours have it that Nokia is looking to stretch the wings to 5.2 inches with the upcoming Lumia 825.

Any smartphone above 5 inch has been branded as phablet, so the Lumia 825 would then fit in the phablet category. Sources don’t confirm the truth of the device, so this is just a bit that requires a dose of salt and tequila.

Lumia 825 is said to run on a 1.2GHZ Quad Core power off a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, a first in Nokia Windows phone devcies, 720p 5.2 inch screen. Expected time of arrival could be in Q4 2013 or Q1 nest year.
