The r/android subreddit never gets boring. It is there that we first got full confirmation that the Nexus 5 announcement was just hours away. and when it is just about to get boring, something exciting pops up. Like a Nexus 10 for instance. Remember that LG-V510 that showed up for Bluetooth certification not long ago and we all thought it was a Nexus 8? According to the images leaked on Reddit that could be the Nexus 10 2013 edition. The one that will take over from the Samsung made Nexus 10 which has just had its KitKat update drop by.
The Nexus 10 (2013) as seen from the leaked images has reduced bezels and features the same wallpaper as the one we saw on the Nexus 5 with the Google experience Launcher. The tablet also appears to rocking some front facing speaker just above the front-facing camera.
The images were leaked by a disgruntled employee of carrier Telefonica which should indicate that whatever we’re seeing in the images is a cellular variant of the tablet. The post on Reddit adds that the tablet will also have LTE on-board which was not there on the Nexus 10 (2012) and this is expected anyway since Google’s new Nexus smartphone (Nexus 5) has LTE whereas last year’s model (Nexus 4) did not have it. The cellular variant of the tablet is said to cost £299 (roughly just under $500) and November 22nd is the rumoured date. The device is expected to be, for the first time for a Nexus 10, available in tow colours: black and white. The white and black, Wi-Fi and cellular variants are also said to be launching at the same time just as was the case with the Nexus 5.
This is a wild leak so take it with the same pinch of salt you use with other rumours/leaks.
