Xbox One has made quite some waves in the news, of-course it was meant to be. Recently announced to precede the Xbox 360, the Xbox 365 has already hit the 1 million sales mark in the first day of sales. But that’s where the good news ends, atleast for gamers in Africa.

Today I we got confirmation from a Microsoft employee Marc Israel who heads Marketing in Office Division in East, West and Central Africa. Marc said that Xbox One won’t be coming to Africa in a long time officially and in his words, “Xbox One not on the horizon yet for Africa”.

Sony on the other hand has confirmed that the PlayStation 4 will be on the shelves at Anisuma, one of their retail channels in Kenya starting tomorrow 28th November. Price details not available yet though but they stand to gain from early adopters who will be faced with no options in their upgrades.
