Huawei’s MediaPad X1 leak spree continues, we have full body clear images now

It’s not a secret anymore that Huawei will be announcing several devices come Mobile World Congress next week. While the company has not hidden its intentions to announce a tablet (or several of them), we’re still in the dark as to what these might be. In a video published yesterday on YouTube, the company teased two tablets: one with a beautiful slim design and long battery life and another one suited for consuming multimedia content. While we ponder as to what those tablets are, Chinese certification agency TENAA’s website has been quite helpful. It is the one that first gave us a hint of the existence of one of those tablets which we think will be named the MediaPad X1 and now it has given us possible full body images of the tablet for the first time.

Here they are (click to enlarge):

The specs listed on TENAA are very much in sync with the earlier rumoured specs:

  • A 7 inch 1920 x 1200 display
  • 2 GB RAM
  • Custom Huawei chip (HiSilicon V9R1 clocked at 1.6 GHz)
  • 5 MP/13 MP
  • Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean
  • GSM (ability to make calls from the tablet),WCDMA

Here’s to hoping that the MediaPad X1 will live up to Huawei’s vision of unlocking possibilities.
