Instagram has rolled out new updates to its ephemeral Stories feature.
The Meta-owned social media platform has added new features to allow for more creative uses on Instagram Stories. The company has announced new custom stickers including Add Yours Music, Frames, Reveal, and Cutout stickers.
Following the success of the “Add Yours” sticker that has been trending these past few weeks, Instagram is updating the feature with an “Add Yours Music” sticker that allows you to share a song that fits your mood and then other users can use the template to add their songs as well.
Another new feature is the Reveal sticker which allows you to post a hidden story for your followers to uncover by sending you a DM. You’ll be prompted to type a hint for your followers to figure out what’s behind the blurred story with this sticker. You won’t have to approve each DM for your story to be revealed to your followers.
There’s also a new cutout sticker on Instagram Stories. This feature allows you to turn any part of any video or photo you have on your camera roll into a custom sticker that you can add to your story or reel. The stickers can be saved and used by other people too.
