Microsoft’s #MakeItHappenEA campaign has reached East Africa.

Microsoft’s global campaign to broaden the appeal of its Lumia range of devices has reached East Africa. Launched over subsequent weekends starting on February 6th 2015, the #MakeItHappenEA campaign aims to inspire consumers in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania to share their aspirations and goals with Lumia East Africa. A select few will then have a chance of a lifetime as their dreams are realized by Microsoft East Africa.

We all have that one big ‘thing’ that we’ve always wanted to do but we never seem to be able to make it happen. Enter Microsoft Lumia. We want to inspire consumers to take action, to confess that life long desire and in doing so, commit to going through with it and to take that first step towards #MakingItHappenEA.

Are you an Inspired Doer?

Do you take inspiration from what’s around you, but aren’t satisfied in sitting around and hoping someone else will realize your dreams for you? Do you feel are compelled to take action to turn your inspiration into reality no matter how crazy or challenging it may seem? Then let Microsoft and Lumia lend a helping hand to achieving your goals.

The rules are as follows:

  • Purchase a Lumia Device between February 1st and March 31st. You can choose from a wide range of colorful devices like the handy Lumia 630, the large screen Lumia 535, the affordable Lumia 530, the super selfie Lumia 730 or image king Lumia 930.
  • SMS the word DREAM to 20096.
  • You will then receive a link to the #MakeItHappenEA online portal.
  • Enter your DREAM (Be big, bold, and take a chance).

What’s up for grabs?

Other than having your dreams fulfilled by #MakeItHappenEA, you may also win the grand prize of a trip to South Africa with a few of your friends. Lumia 535 phones, accessories and other prizes will also be given away.

For terms and conditions of the #MakeItHappenEA campaign, please go to the Lumia Living website.
