LG has begun teasing a new mid-range smartphone that is set to be unveiled on September 21st.
The smartphone, identified by French tech site Nowhereelse as the LG Class (LG-H470) is said to have a metal body and retaining the back-button design we have to come to expect from LG smartphones in the last few years. In the case of the LG Class, the buttons have been rearranged.
The LG Class is expected to pack a 5.7 inch full HD display, a 12 megapixel camera backed by a 5 megapixel camera camera, 8 GB internal storage, 2 GB RAM, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz and run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
With metal cladding, it is not yet clear if the LG Class will have expandable storage or even a removable battery.
LG is expected to announce a phablet, rumoured to be called V10 and packing high-end specifications, at an event in New York on October 1st.
