Just a few days ago, HMD Global, the Finnish company that secured rights to design and bring to market mobile devices under the iconic Nokia brand, surprised us all when it made official the Nokia 6, a brand new Android smartphone.
However, since the Nokia 6 is a mid-range smartphone that is headed to China and not yet confirmed to be made available anywhere else, there’s surely more to come from Nokia, right?
A leaked presentation revealed that HMD Global may be introducing up to 7 Nokia-branded smartphones this year and with the Nokia 6 already out of the way, that leaves us with at least another 6 devices to look forward to. If the teaser on Nokia’s Facebook page is anything to go by then we may not have to wait for so long to see what Nokia has in store for the rest of the world, more so those of us who have been holding out for a high-end Android smartphone from Nokia for so long.
Mobile World Congress is just around the corner and according to Nokia, we should mark February 26th when it plans to make known to the world its plans for 2017 and reveal what it has been quietly working on.
Get ready! The Nokia 6 is coming to China! More announcements to follow on February 26th… Save the date!
