Snapchat’s Limitless Snaps Will Change How You View Stories

This is cool

One of Snapchat’s biggest assets is Stories and that is where the close to 160 million active daily users view their friend’s Snaps. Snapchat has changed how we view Stories over time like how initially we used to view Stories concurrently from one friend to another and now we watch per Story.

Now Snapchat has changed the limit to the time we view Stories. A Snap usually has a timer limit which is set before adding it to your Stories and the maximum was 10 seconds. Well now Snapchat has gone beyond the 10 second limit of viewing a snap by adding a no limit option (has the handy infinity sign ∞  symbol).

As the option suggests, this will allow you to view the Snap for as long as you like. “We’ve all felt the frustration of not being able to fully enjoy a Snap – even after replaying it,” Snap says on the post, “and we wanted to give you the option of allowing the recipient to enjoy your Snap as long as they’d like.” When you are done with watching the Snap and close it, it will delete as usual.

Also, Snapchat has incorporated a new Loop tool so that you can set if your Snap plays once or loops until your friends go to the next Snap. They have also reorganized the creative tools layout and added a Magic eraser under the scissors tool.

“These changes allow us to continue evolving the Snapchat service and provide a foundation for introducing even more creative tools for making fun Snaps,” Snap says in the post. You can bet the big change like the Infinity time limit and the new creative tools will be a hit for the many Snapchatters out there.
