Snapchat is rolling a new update that will finally let users change their usernames. This has been the most requested feature by users on its app.
Other platforms including TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram let you change your username.
Snapchat didn’t let you do that. Which meant that you got stuck with the username you signed up with when you first joined the platform.
This new update will have you change that username to one that you prefer right now.
The popular social network has been working on bringing this new feature since late last year.
The good thing about this update is that it won’t reset your friend’s lists, Snap scores, or memories.
The update is rolling out to its Android and iOS apps within the week.
