It’s been a tough couple of weeks for Huawei following the US Trade Ban. Things are however looking good for them following the 90-day reprieve which gave them back their Android license and other organizations lifting their restrictions. EMUI 9.1 adds performance enhancements such as OneHop to improve the overall experience for millions of users who already own a Huawei device. The update is also going to Honor devices too.

You can check the Huawei site dedicated to the EMUI 9.1 beta here for all the upcoming features such as GPU Turbo 3.0 for up to 25 popular Android games on the Play Store.
Before getting on board the beta program, you’ll need to have the Huawei Beta Club app already downloaded and installed. Then you can manually check to see if the update is available for download for your device.
Sadly, this may be the last public test on an Android build as Huawei is building its own OS. Hopefully, the trade issues get resolved faster.
