Android 11 betas are already out and what most people anticipated is when the public launch is going to happen. Now we know.
The betas are currently eligible for Google’s Pixel devices including the Pixel 2, 3, 3a and 4 series.
Android 11 comes with a bevy of new features and tweaks to current features.
The features include built-in screen recording, new app permission options, motion sense media playback controls, customizable share menu, 5G connectivity enhancements, dark theme timers(context-aware dark mode), chat bubbles, accident tracking, new quick controls, app suggestions to replace the app dock, conversation notifications, new power menu, muting notifications duringvideo recording, notification history, revamped overview menu and screenshot shortcut, ability to dismiss persistent app notifications, more granular back gesture tweaking, airplane mode not killing Bluetooth and variable refresh rate among others.
So during the company’s “Hey Google” Smart Home Summit video, Michele Turner, a Google exec, showed a slideshow that is a checklist for Septemeber 8th Android 11 launch.
