Nation Media Group has launched a digital brand, Nation.Africa.
The media corporation has been beta testing the brand and platform for a couple of weeks now.
According to the publisher, Nation has been ‘creating a new value and generating quality as well as differentiated and engaging content for consumers, however, wherever, and whenever they need it.’
Furthermore, Nation adds that the brand will see it re-engineer itself and accelerate its digital transformation.
Nation is currently unveiling the platform via a live stream on its site.
Some users have noticed that the news company has been testing a new site for the last couple of weeks.
The beta site has been lauded for its speed and design, and could not have come at a better time.
In the past, the nation.co.ke was poorly designed with a ton of issues and blatant ads. These issues appear to have been ironed out.
The platform now looks modern, with better fonts, and is crazy turbo fast. We haven’t seen a speedier site locally, and we are actually happy the mother news company is leading the way for the rest. The developers behind the site have outdone themselves, and we are glad the site is heading out of beta and can make reference to it when citing fast websites in Kenya.
We are looking forward to additional details from the company as the official unveiling continues.
