UPDATE: OPPO Reno6 series will be launching on May 27th.
OPPO Reno5 has been available in markets for some months now and its successor will soon be making its way to retail stores.
The tech giant will be hosting its mid-year gala later this month(May 22) and the company may announce the OPPO Reno6.
The mid-year gala will be attended by a couple of celebrities including Song Yuqi, Wang Jiaer, Hua Chenyu among others.
In previous years, OPPO has used its mid-year gala to launch its smartphones in the Reno line.
OPPO Reno6 will come featuring three different versions running on Snapdragon 888, Snapdragon 870 and Dimensity 1200.
OPPO Reno6 is expected to feature a high refresh rate display and like its predecessor, the OPPO Reno 5, we’ll see an OLED hole-punch display with 90Hz screen refresh rate.
OPPO Reno6 will come with Android 11 and ColorOS 11 straight out of the box. We expect 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.
Battery capacity is yet to be unknown although we’re expecting a 4300mAh battery. OPPO is set to include its SuperVOOC 2.0 65W fast wired charging like its predecessor.
