Twitter Becomes Instagram With New Edge-to-Edge Format for Pictures and Videos

Twitter continues to copy Instagram. After failing to clone Insta stories with their fleets feature which they recently killed, the social network is now copying Instagram’s edge-to-edge wide format for pictures and video on the Twitter app for iOS.

Twitter says that they are testing a more immersive timeline in which photos, videos, and Tweets with text spanning the width of your screen leaving no margin so you should expect larger photos and videos.
