realme Brings the GT Explorer Master Edition to Kenya, Starts at KES 45000

The majority of smartphones are the same out there in the wild; they are glass slabs, with a selfie snapper punched in the screen, and multiple cameras on their rare.

It is where the world has been going, and things have been stale in the recent past.

The only company that could go out of its way to release esciting phones was LG, but we all know how that story ended.

realme has been releasing good phones over the last couple of years. Seldom, the company, which has an office in Kenya, brings its high-end devices here.

And there is a good reason for that: the majority of phone buyers locally want a phone they can afford, and the sweet spot is usually under KES 20K.

Therefore, it makes sense why good, and pricier phones from BBK Electronics never make it here.

Heck, even OPPO Kenya stopped, and has been focusing on the Reno line, which, until the release of the Reno6 series, was priced at around KES 40K or less. The Reno6 5G costs KES 60K, in case you are wondering.

Another quick reminder is that realme started an offshoot of OPPO. It has since grown, and sells many devices in emerging markets, including India.

Remember the realme GT Master Edition lineup?

The phones are loved just from their looks. They are different, and shake things up in a market of glass slabs.

realme says it has brought the phones to Kenya. They have good specifications, and some of them are as follows:

realme GT Explorer Master Edition

Chip: Snapdragon 870

Screen: 6.55” super AMOLED, 120 Hz

OS: Android 11, Realme UI

Memory; 8/128 GB, 12/256 GB

Camera: Triple, 50 MP main, 16MP ultrawide, 2 MP macro

Selfie: 32 MP

Battery: 4500 mAh, 65W fast charging

The most important part of the phone is that it has a suitcase design style, which also introduces 3D vegan leather technology.

realme GT Master

Chip: Snapdragon 778G

Screen: 6.43”, super AMOKED, 120 Hz

Memory: 6/128 GB, 8/128 GB, 8/256 GB

Camera: 64 MP main, 8 MP ultrawide, 2 MP macro

Selfie: 32 MP

Battery: 4300 mAh, 65W fast charging

The price of realme GT Explorer Master Edition starts from KES 45000, whereas the price of realme GT Master Edition starts from KES 37000.
