Today, Blackview OSCAL announced that its first budget night vision rugged phone, OSCAL S60 Pro, would officially hit the market on March 28th PT with impressive camera capability, overall performance, and ruggedness.

After its establishment, OSCAL has quickly become one of the leaders in the youngster-oriented market by adhering to getting more global users under 35 to afford smart devices with leap-forward performance and trendsetting design at a friendly price. As the third OSCAL rugged phone besides the S60 and the non-night-vision S60 Pro, the new night vision S60 Pro boasts upgraded photography and performance power while remaining staggeringly budget and rugged, uncovering possibilities for those who expect night vision power and smartphone versatility without costing much.

Shoot Photos & Videos in Pitch Dark Night or By Day, Underwater or On Land

For the first-ever, OSCAL introduces the night vision camera based on the 8MP Sony® IMX219 sensor into the new S60 Pro, bumping up from its predecessors on the photography. With two IR emitters, it can frame out the objects clearly in dim lighting or pitch darkness and snap photos and videos of black-and-white styles without the external light. It applies widely, from guaranteeing outdoor home safety to privacy protection. For example, the night vision phone helps discover burglars or peerer lurking around and ensures community safety when patrolling on the night road. When checking in the hotel, open the night vision camera and detect whether there’s a camera hidden behind to snap your privacy. Traveling outdoors, the S60 Pro applies more than imagined, including observing the animals, avoiding unexpected encounters with wildlife outdoors, navigating the way back to campsites, and finding the lost companions and pets.

For bright-lighting conditions, 8MP Sony® IMX219 front and 13MP Sony® IMX258 rear camera play a part. The S60 Pro supports the Underwater Mode, and you can record any delightful moments either on land or under the water. More camera modes include Monochrome Mode, Beauty Mode, and Pro Mode. Whenever there’s the spur to take photographs, click the shutter to make excellence without an effort.

Power-packed, Tackle Daily Tasks Effortlessly

For any outdoor enthusiasts, a large battery is of necessity. S60 Pro carries a 5580mAh battery, maintaining a balance between enough battery life at a full charge and portability. According to repeated official experimental tests, this power performer makes it through 7 hours of gaming, 8 hrs of video streaming, 24 hrs of calling, and up to 288 hrs of standby time, lasting longer than expected.

Most rugged phones on the same range support the native Android OS of older versions, while OSCAL S60 Pro ensures better interactiveness, efficiency, and smoothness by running the Doke OS 2.1 based on Android 11. Doke OS has achieved wide user popularity since its launch. And the 2.1 version offers a bundle of enhanced features, including design visuals, animation, and app pre-launching optimization, to deliver an ultimately friendly user experience. And featuring the octa-core MediaTek Helio A25 that integrates 8 x ARM Cortex-A53 CPU operating up to 1.8GHz with the IMG PowerVR GE8320-class graphics processor of 650Hz, the S60 Pro is ideal for a splash of gaming and everyday apps at power efficiency. Combined with 4GB RAM, 32GB ROM, and 1TB expandable, it’s perfectly up to basic multitasking and massive storage requirements.

Rugged and Tough, Rise to Demanding Challenges

S60 Pro’s styling fully shows its RUGGED nature. Insisted on the highest rugged phone standards learned from Blackview’s years of experience, OSCAL’s engineers have spent countless hours and conquered myriads of difficulties to build the S60 Pro with a robust structure, taking quality to its new height. It’s ready to battle against any severe challenges, such as drops, water immersion, smudges, or bumps. Under numerous rigorous tests, the S60 Pro successfully passes the latest IP68 & IP69K & MIL-STD-810H certification to keep peace of mind whether for a tough day on construction jobs or trekking into the wilderness.

More Features

Aside from the features mentioned above, the S60 Pro also packs more to boost the rugged phone performance.

* 5.7-inch HD+ display

* Dual 4G VoLTE

* 2.4G + 5G Wi-Fi
