Deezer wants you to dig deeper in your pockets to continue to enjoy using the streaming platform.
Deezer is notifying subscribers in their free tier that they’re ending Deezer Free on the 19th of April.
This tier plays ads in between songs and to upgrade, you have to switch to either the Deezer Family or Deezer Premium plans.
The two paid subscription plans allow for offline listening, Hi-Fi sound and ad-free music.
Deezer Family allows you to add 6 accounts with simultaneous listening on multiple devices. You’ll be charged Sh547 for this plan (with a one-month free trial)
Deezer Premium lets you play any track ad-free and offline streaming for Ksh 547 too.
Supported payment options in Kenya include PayPal, Visa/Mastercard, MPESA, Airtel Money or even Equitel.
Sadly, the Student plan isn’t available in the country.
