Japanese electronics company Epson has announced a bunch of projectors for home cinema, gaming, and sport.
The company, which is known for its printers, says that the new six projectors will appeal to film lovers, sports fans, and games who are looking for an immersive big-screen experience.
This is also not the first time that the company is making projectors: it has been in that business for years, but most of its products don’t come to Kenya, save for printers and some photography devices.
Models
The projectors range from entry-level ones with WXGA technology and a new design, affordable 4K PRO-UHD projectors with built-in Android TV to the latest Epson EpiqVision Ultra Projector with 4K-PRO UHD and a laser light source.
The release ensures that there is a device for every price bracket.
- EpiqVision Ultra EH-LS800B and EH-LS800W. These are Epson’s super-ultra-short-throw models providing even closer positioning to the wall. Available in both black and white these projectors offer a solid blend of high brightness, great image quality, and versatility by leveraging Epson’s laser light source technology.
Image size starts from 80” to 150” starting from just 2.3cm3 from the wall. The resolution is maxed out at 4K.
They are also powered by Android TV, meaning they are equipped with all Android TV features such as casting. They also have great speakers made by Yamaha, but there are chances you will need a dedicated speaker anyway. - EH-TW6150 and EH-TW6250 entry level 4K PRO-UHD projectors. They reportedly cost less than the other two, max out at 4K, and can be placed at home with flexible placement via the vertical lens shift. They also run Android TV.
