Infinix Smart 6 4G vs Samsung Galaxy A03 Core vs Xiaomi Redmi A1+: Comparison Review

The under 13K smartphone budget in the country has gotten really good in the past few years with worthy entry-level devices. In this comparison review, we have the Infinix Smart 6 4G, the Samsung Galaxy A03 Core and the Xiaomi Redmi A1+.

The Xiaomi Redmi A1+ was launched last month while the Infinix Smart 6 4G and the Samsung Galaxy A03 Core were launched last year in October and November respectively.

We’ve already taken a look at the Xiaomi Redmi A1+ which you can watch here but how does it compare with the rivals like the Infinix Smart 6 4G and the Samsung Galaxy A03 Core.

Infinix Smart 6 4G comes with features like a 6.6″ display and is powered by a Unisoc SC9863A processor paired with IMG8322 GPU and 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. It comes running on Android 11 Go Edition and XOS 7.6. For biometrics, we get face unlock and rear fingerprint reader.

For cameras, we have a dual main setup that includes an 8MP main and an 0.8MP depth sensor plus a 5MP selfie camera.

Infinix Smart 6 4G comes with a 5000mAh battery.

It comes in beautiful colours including Purple, Ocean Blue, Light Sea Green(our unit) and Polar Black.

Xiaomi Redmi A1 Plus is a recent device that runs on Android 12 Go Edition and rocks a Helio A22 processor paired with PowerVR GE8320 GPU and 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. It has a 6.52″ screen and runs on MIUI 12. For cameras, we get an 8MP and 0.08MP complementary camera and a 5MP selfie camera.

Xiaomi Redmi A1 Plus has a 5000mAh battery and comes in Light Green, Light Blue, and Black colours. It has a rear fingerprint reader for biometrics.

Samsung Galaxy A03 Core comes in Black and Blue with a 6.5″ screen and is powered by Unisoc SC9863A – the same processor running the Infinix Smart 6 4G.

It has a single 8MP main camera and a 5MP selfie camera. It lacks any form of biometrics.

Powering the Samsung Galaxy A03 Core is a 5000mAh battery.

For pricing, the Infinix Smart 6 4G, the Xiaomi Redmi A1+ and the Samsung Galaxy A03 Core go for Ksh 10,999, Ksh 10,499 and Ksh 11,699 respectively either online and at their respective retail stores.
