TECNO Kenya has officially opened up pre-orders for the Phantom V Fold in the country. The Phantom V Fold is the company’s first foldable and will be making its appearance later this month after being announced at Mobile World Congress early last month.
The V Fold will join the flagship X2 series in the country under the premium Phantom sub-brand.
Industry leader Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 now has a more affordable competitor in this format in Kenya.
You can pre-order the V fold here and also at official Safaricom shops and selected TECNO shops. There’s a gift hamper with each pre-order and included is a TECNO smartwatch, a free TECNO backpack and 120GB of Safaricom data.
Pre-orders started this week and the period extends all the way to the 17th of this month.

The V Fold comes running Dimensity 9000+ 5G processor(4nm). This is the same chipset on the OPPO Find N2 Flip and shares performance stats similar to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 that’s in the Samsung Z Fold 4.

The TECNO Phantom V Fold has 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of onboard storage. It also comes with Android 13 and HiOS 13.
