Weeks after launching “Niokolee” Safaricom has more good news for its customers. They have introduced a TikTok Bundle.
In recent years, TikTok has emerged as a social media powerhouse, amassing many fans across the globe. The platform’s app revenue market share has surpassed those of older social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram
Safaricom is not sleeping on this hence, the TikTok bundle. The special bundle offers very affordable data plans.
No doubt, this is targeting Gen Z who spend hours on TikTok and may not have the purchasing power for normal bundles.
TikTok Bundle Prices
The smallest data bundle plan costs only KSH 10. For this, a Safaricom customer gets 1024 MB of data that is valid for 1 hour. In addition, you have the option to pay KSH 10 for 150 MB valid for up to 24 hrs.
The most expensive data plan is KSH 50. This data plan offers the customer 1.2 GB of data that is valid for 24 hrs.
However, this is not the first time the telco is offering a TikTok bundle. Although, this is the first time the bundle has been branded “TikTok”.
The telco has been offering its customers a special bundle that costs Ksh 50. Of note is this special bundle is only available past midnight and is valid till 6 AM.
In effect, it has been a “TikTok Bundle” as the target market who get 5 GB of data are people who livestream overnight on the social media platform.
Recently, we have seen Telkom introduce a data plan dubbed “Usiku Sacco”. This data plan almost mirrors Safaricom’s data plan.
Telkom’s plan is valid from 10 pm to 6 am!
