Infinix is set to break some tech design records in the Kenyan market with the launch of the Infinix Hot 50 Pro+ which has been labelled as the slimmest 3D-curved smartphone. While the exact date is not official yet, we have exclusive information that the smartphone will be launched in Kenya later this month on the 20th, being the slimmest profile phone in Kenya so far.
The leak comes with images showing an impressively thin-framed smartphone designed to bring a balance to users between sleek design and functionality. What’s interesting is that Infinix also promises durability with this phone which is usually rare to see with this kind of form factor.
The Infinix Hit 50 Pro+ stands at an incredible 6.88mm thickness, while also packing some cutting-edge features expected to captivate enthusiasts and everyday users alike.
The device is anticipated to feature curved 3D edges, making it even more aesthetically pleasing to compete with the best in the market.
Some may ask about the battery size considering how slim the device is. Well, Infinix seems to have adopted Silicon-Carbide battery cells, a new battery technology that allows for higher mAh capacities while accommodating slimmer designs.
The device is also expected to launch with various features including a rear camera module packing a 50MP rear camera and a 2MP macro lens. It will also sport a Helio G100 chipset to power it although it’s not clear which RAM options will be available in the country.
It will definitely be interesting to see how the Infinix Hot 50 Pro+ holds up in terms of general performance and how thin it actually is in real life. Despite the leaked information, the pricing seems to be under wraps and we’ll have to wait till launch to get it.
