Africa’s most influential technology and business leaders are gearing up for the CIO100 Symposium & Awards 2025, set to take place from November 19 to 21, at Enashipai Resort & Spa, Naivasha.
Now in its 17th year, the CIO100 Symposium has evolved into Africa’s most prestigious platform celebrating excellence in IT leadership and innovation.
Hosted by CIO Africa by dx⁵, the event honors organizations and technology visionaries driving transformation, resilience, and measurable impact across the continent.
“This year’s shortlist shows that Africa has moved beyond adoption; we’re leading,” said Harry Hare, Chairman of CIO Africa by dx⁵, during the CIO100 Press Conference held at the Sarova Hotel.
The 2025 edition will bring together over 300 CIOs, executives, and innovators from sectors including finance, energy, telecoms, government, and transport. These 162 finalists represent the very best of Africa’s digital transformation story, a story that is still educating the world.
The event will also feature insights from the CIO100 MegaTrends 2025 Report, offering benchmarking data that indicates what high-performing digital enterprises are doing differently to stay ahead.
Themes and Expectations for CIO100 Symposium 2025
This year’s event will revolve around the theme, “Tech Leadership in the Age of AI and Digital Resilience.” The symposium will explore how African enterprises are embracing emerging technologies to transform operations and strengthen digital ecosystems.
AI and automation will take center stage, showcasing how organizations are using smart systems to improve efficiency and enhance customer experiences.
