Just a few days we had the worldcup and very little could be done in offices and, for some, homes, the premier league is now around. Starting on the 14th of August we will have a marathon of weekends and i bet you will be looking forward to your weekends more than ever. Last season we had Chelsea win a very closely contested game to archrivals Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspurs.
Pay-TV like Dstv will get the lion’s share of attention since a very small number of worldwide football fans will have access to live matches at the stadias. As usual we will have free tv showing live football, but this never compensates the urge to go social with football to pubs and restaurants like our local Tamasha Hurlingham which is currently showing an outside big screen to revellers satisfaction. Social media alike will go ablaze with live feeds twitter feeds from @premiershipuk and other twitter users, of the games to those who wont be able to be at a screen during the matches. You might as well bet with me that wives will feel disowned again, football loving females will have a time of their life and alcohol sales will be back on the rise, eg my favourite whitecap brand which will be my staple drink.
