Now on a regular day I usually check my back-end for stats ranging from daily traffic stats, sources of the stats and the words being searched oftenly to lead readers to this blog. This helps me to guage the impact of the articles am writing, since most of you barely have time to comment on the articles, its all good though. Now back to my point. There are words that have been coming out prominently from late last year, and beyond the Samsung Chat, Android Icecream on Samsung Galaxy Note, the terms that have been most prominent are:

  • bh5512 dual sim
  • Galaxy Y dual sim
  • Galaxy Y pro dual sim
This phone launched in South Korea just a day before I went to holiday, so I wasnt able to cover it in time. But you have prompted  me to go back a step. Do people need an Android Dual Sim phone that much? This is the most searched phone in my blog. I use this awesome plugin by Automattic called Jetpack, gives me alot of detailed stats off my blog effortlessly.
I will start by listing the specifications of these two phones, maybe start at a point of determining what would make the average user want that phone so bad. Yes, there has been so much traffic to this Galaxy Y Pro Duos Leak article.

Galaxy Y duos

  • HSDPA 7.2 Mbps
  • 3.14″
  • Android 2.3
  • 3 mp fixed focus camera, no front
  • Video Recording : [email protected],Playback : [email protected] [email protected]
  • Samsung Kies 2.0
  • ChatON(Available for all android devices, iphone and [email protected])
  • Samsung TouchWiz
  • Social Hub
  • Accelerometer, Digital compass, Proximity
  • Bluetooth 3.0
  • Li-ion Battery 1,300 mAh
  • 109.8 x 60 x 11.98 mm, 109 g
  • 160MB User Memory + 2GB inbox microSD
  • microSD (up to 32GB)

Galaxy Y Pro Duos(These are the only features different from the Galaxy Y Dual Sim)

  • 2.6″LQVGA TFT LCD
  • Optical trackpad
  • Li-ion Battery 1,350 mAh
  • 110.8 x 63.5 x 11.9 mm, 112.3g
  • Polaris
  • Find My Mobile Service
Now as we can see, the specs are not bad, its the average android device, Galaxy Y duos as Samsung likes to call it is a full touch smartphone while Galaxy Y pro Duos is a Qwerty phone. Plus it has a trackpad, where it misses the touch element. Internet speeds are not bad either, at 7.2 thats good enough. But the Dual sim element would make many bypass the next single sim phone of similar or slightly higher specs. I had some insider info that this phone is coming to the market next month, now I hope the constants are still the same and this will happen.
Here’s a poll I would love to see you fill, give comments if possible.
