Samsung Earlier today unveiled the first Samsung premium brand shop in Kenya. This shop is located at the Junction Shopping mall on Ngong road. At the Samsung Premium brand shop, customers will be able to have a full experience with the devices available for sale before purchasing them. All devices available for sale, ranging from Smart phones, Tablets, Note, Visual Display, IT Solutions, Digital Imaging, Digital Appliances, Mobile Communications, laptops and other accessories will have demo pieces at the experience shop for a full device experience, complete with internet access to enable the customer make an informed decision.
During launch today and all day, three of the Samsung mobile products the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, the Samsung Galaxy Note and the Samsung Galaxy S II will have a 5% off sale for shoppers. As of writing this, the premium shop attendants had reported sale of 20 Galaxy Note devices since the opening of the store two days ago. Samsung Galaxy S II devices are literally flying off the shelves, they added. This could be attributed bby the many positive reviews the device is getting, and the award the Galaxy S II got during the recently ended Mobile World Congress during the GSMA where judges listed Samsung Galaxy S II as smartphone of 2011 with these comments “A phenomenal success around the world, this has outperformed all its Android rivals and demonstrated the maturity of the ecosystem.”
“This Samsung brand shop is offering our customers the full Samsung premium experience across our smart phones category and digital appliances,” said Mr Manoj Changarampat, Business Leader, SEEA.
He added: “The shop, which will be a showcase in the latest technology, will be manned by fully trained and experienced Samsung staff that will able to take our customers through the whole Samsung experience”
Samsung is now a leader in Smartphones offing in many markets, mainly Europe and here in Kenya, and in the tablets category, it leads in Kenya.
