Samsung revises publisher fees for Samsung Apps

Samsung AppsSamsung has changed seller fees for Samsung Apps, effective today, 26th March. Some regions will get the free service extended while others will get theirs changed to paid, also changing price tiers in others. Pan-Arab and Pan-African countries will have a separate free store. We hope to promote sales of your application with this expansion of our service.
Here are the details of the change according to a newsletter that just came in:

1. Expand the sales of paid applications into more countries (50->56 countries)
: Japan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Estonia, Israel, Luxembourg
※ Please note that if you select ‘Check All’ or the countries shown above, where only free services were available, paid applications will be distributed automatically.
2. Expand the service by Payment Methods into more countries
– Countries where P-SMS service will be launched (8 countries)
: Hungary, Greece, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Latvia, Estonia, Israel, Luxembourg
– Countries where a Credit Card service will be launched (2 countries)
: Japan, Kazakhstan
– Country where the Phone Bill service will be launched (1 country)
: China (Alipay)
※ Please note that the new Payment Method options will be applied automatically to paid applications for sale within the countries above.
3. Price Tier Change (4 countries)
: Greece, Hungary, Slovakia, Bulgaria
4. Expand free application sales into more countries (66->67 countries)
: Malta
※ Please note that if you previously selected ‘Check All’, free applications will be distributed automatically in the countries above.
5-1. Separated Pan-Arab store (12 countries)
: Lebanon, Libya, Bahrain, Algeria, Yemen, Oman, Iraq, Tunisia, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Egypt
※ Please note that if you previously selected ‘Check All’ or the Pan-Arab countries above, free applications will be distributed automatically to the Pan-Arab store.
5-2. Separated Pan-African store (15 countries)
: DRC, Ghana, Namibia, Mauritius, Mozambique, Botswana, Senegal , Angola, Uganda, Cameroon, Cote D’Ivoire, Congo, Tanzania, Kenya, Nigeria
※ Please note that if you previously selected ‘Check All’ or the Pan-African countries above, free applications will be distributed automatically to the Pan-African store.

You can change service settings or add different Payment Methods for the previously unavailable countries.
