Though they waited longer, Sony Xperia users will not complain like some in the Galaxy range like the Galaxy S did, when Samsung announced they are gonna miss out on the Android Ice Cream fray. Sony has announced that the whole range of 2011 Sony Xperia phones are getting Android Ice Cream Sandwich. So updates will start for three of the Xperias, there being Xperia Arc S, Xperia Neo V and Xperia Ray in Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, Finland and Norway. Rollout in the next 4-6 weeks to the global market.
Other Xperias (Sony Xperia arc, Sony Xperia PLAY, Sony Xperia neo, Sony Xperia mini, Sony Xperia mini pro, Sony Xperia pro, Sony Xperia active and Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman) will begin getting the ICS juice from end of May to early June (just before the promised Q2 ends).
