The HP Envy will sure be an envy among many as the product specifications are something to excite the gadget buds in anyone who loves the thrill of performance. It comes in two options, the 15.6 and 14 inch HD Brightview LED-backlit display. It weighs 2.04kg at its lightest, 19.8mm thin with dimensions of 14.72 by 9.95 by 0.78 inches, has HP CoolSense, a feature that ensures that your device doesnt heat up your thighs when on the move, the casing is made entirely of metal, with a maroon bottom and the top being black. It runs 500GB SSD. Another feature being HP Protectsmart keeps your data secure, protecting it from loss incase your Ultrabook suffers shock from falls, it detects motion and plans ahead.
Memory is available in options of 4 and 6Gb DDR3 SDRAM. The Ultrabook gives upto 9 hours battery life. Other features are Intel Smart Response technology(makes it boot fast, actually in seconds), Intel Rapid Start Technology(makes it resume fast from the deepest of sleep, its a personal assistant), Intel Identity protection technology(this gives a layer of protection from Intel, disables the hard drive incase of theft, so your data cant get compromised incase of loss) and Intel Smart Connect Technology(keeps the device always on and connected, so you are all synced on opening your machine, including mail and updates).
Something unique with the HP Envy 6 is that it dons built-in Beats audion dual speakers and subwoofer for the music freaks even with it’s small size. Pricing and availability I will update as soon as I have details.
