Lilly launches HumaPen SAVVIO, a fancy insulin management device in Kenya

Lilly Diabetes on Thursday launched an insulin management device which was developed with good design in mind. Lilly was launching this device, the HumaPen SAVVIO in Kenya as the first country in Africa.

According to Lilly, research indicated that diabetes patients want an insulin delivery device that makes them feel more comfortable and confident using when managing their insulin. The HumaPen SAVVIO which looks like a pen was designed to look more like a personal accessory than a medical device while at the same time making it a durable device to suite people’s lifestyle needs.

The HumaPen SAVVIO will be available in grey, pink, red and blue in the end of April 2013 in the Kenyan Market.
