Apple 1
A functional Apple 1 machine sold for $647,100 in an auction conducted by German-based Sotheby’s Uwe Breker. Of the 50 such devices that are documented, 6 are said to be in working condition. The price beats the $640,000 spent on an Apple 1 in November last year. The seller had privately paid $40,000 for the device along with the old business transaction letter from Steve Jobs. Also spotted on the device motherboard is Steve Wozniak’s signature.
