Samsung Galaxy S 4 Zoom is now selling in Nairobi. The Galaxy S 4 Zoom is the last of the four Galaxy S 4 iterations launched earlier in the year. The other three being the Galaxy S 4, Galaxy S 4 Active and Galaxy S 4 mini. The Galaxy S 4 and Galaxy S 4 mini have since become available in Kenya.
The Galaxy S 4 Zoom was built with much focus on the camera abilities. Samsung is a huge gambler, was the first to break the smartphone size barrier with the introduction of the Galaxy Note, then added a stylus onto it. It then became popular, with the Galaxy S 4 Zoom, this was the first smartphone to have a physically zoomable lens with 10x zoom. it also features a 16MP CMOS sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation and a Xenon Flash.
The Galaxy S 4 Zoom goes a step further and adds additional camera software operated by the Zoom Ring. A twist of the Zoom ring presents a list of features like in-call Photo share, Quick Launch and 25 smart camera mode presets for the learner.
According to Samsung Electronics East Africa COO Robert Ngeru, Samsung wishes to fulfil both the roles of being an industry leading smartphone and a high-end compact camera. Ans this brings out the best of both worlds.
