Asus to take product experience to Kenyan consumers in a month long Nairobi Road Show

ASUS TAICHIAsus will from this weekend hold a series of roadshows to showcase their product offerings at some of Nairobi’s malls. Starting from the weekend of 14th September Asus will be at Village market on Saturday and Sunday where they will be at Technology House, one of Asus dealers.

The Asus team and dealers will enable customers experience and understand the product offerings that they have on offer for this market. Consumers will get to experience first hand and interact with Asus products and also get a chance to receive brand items on select models sold.

“We at Asus believe that every idea starts with people and we turn our imagination into myriad revolutionary innovations. Through the roadshow, we hope to showcase among other products, the W8 touch notebook and the Intel powered Fonepad-which offer differentiated solutions.” said Asus product manager, Mr Chris Wen.

The first week Saturday and Sunday this week will be a series of four roadshows that will then be replicated in Westgate Mall at the Orange Store on the 21st and 22nd of September, then Adams Arcade at BJs Electronics shop on the 28th and 29th of September, the fourth one will be held at Sarit Centre at the Text Book Centre on the 5th and 6th of October while the last one will be held at Bright Technologies in Capital Centre on Mombasa road.

Asus which is the number three consumer notebook vendor globally seeks to make consumers aware of the various great products they have for this market and the various malls will range from high end to low end in terms of the products they will be showcasing.

This roadshow is a commencement of creating a huge impression in the Kenyan market and Asus seeks to icrease the footprint in the rest of Kenya and will soon be selling via dealers in Kisumu and the rest of East Africa. Mr. Wen says Asus realizes the value of the distribution channel and it’s his desire that he uses these channels to showcase Asus as a world 1st tier IT vendor determined to penetratrate the market.

Wen says that globally the Asus brand has established itself as a strong and valuable brand and in Kenya the company seeks to build the awareness and availability. Asus will also unveil the Brand Ambassador at the road shows.
