Nokia still has feelings for the entry level and is still keen on widening it’s range of feature phones. Even with a move to Redmond. Now today Nokia introduced yet another feature phone, this time at the bare of minimums and put a camera on it,a VGA one.
Nokia also added removable shells on the Nokia 108 to give customers the choice to colour the device the way they want. A choice range of colours for the Nokia 108 os Red, White, Black, Yellow and Cyan.
The device will be available in both single and dual-SIM and the single SIM version will be capable of doing 31 days of standby time, 25 for the dual-SIM one, effectively passing the test of ideal feature phone for the under-served areas in terms of infrastructure like electricity. Talk-time is 13.8 hours.
Beyond the VGA camera, the Nokia 108 comes with Series 30 OS, an MP3 player, FM Radio, the Snake game and a flash light. It also has Bluetooth 3.0 powered Nokia Slam, a 1.8 inch TFT QQVGA display, numerical keyboard with island keys and support for microSD upto 32GB.
Nokia 108 starts to sell at USD 29 within Q4 this year. No information as of now to which markets this is headed to.
