Since the Gold-coloured iPhone 5s made a debut and sold out in the first weekend of going on sale, there has been no doubt that indeed Gold flavours of current smartphones are in high demand. We’ve seen the likes of Samsung and HTC launch their flagships in gold too many months after they were announced. HTC even took the bold step of not just offering a gold colour version but went pure gold with a 24 carat One. LG could be joining the party with a gold-coloured G2.
Taiwanese site ePrice uncovered the gold-coloured G2 and expected prices aren’t very different range from the current pricing of the other colour options of the device. $562 for the 32 GB version to $500 for the 16 GB version is the range.
Will a gold-coloured version of the G2 go a long way in boosting sales?
