Remember that keyboard we heard that Google was working on for the iPhone in late March? It’s now ready and it’s already on the iTunes store for all iPhone users to install and use, for free.
Just like the leaks had intimated, the keyboard, called Gboard, allows users to perform Google searches without leaving the application they are in right from the keyboard app itself. The app also allows users to search for GIFs on the fly as well as gesture typing which is being referred to as Glide Typing.
Only English is supported at the moment even though there’s a promise that support for more languages will be added going forward. Oh, you can’t have it, yet, if you are not in the US.
