International Data Corporation (IDC) To Host Yearly East Africa CIO Summit in Nairobi

The yearly East Africa CIO Summit has found its way to Nairobi, again. The fourth installment of the summit that will be hosted by International Data Corporation (IDC) will be staged at Radisson Blu Hotel on Wednesday, June 14, and discussion’s cornerstone will based on the theme ‘Enabling Dynamic Change for the Digital Era.’

East Africa’s top ICT leaders will be part of the event that will serve as a platform to showcase enlightening addresses, engaging discussions as well as best practices in the ICT industry. At the same time, the summit aims make way for a collaboration between IDC analysts and respected global ICT vendors, and in extension, end users. By doing so, IDC hopes to offer a framework for participants in the industry to look into modern ICT strides and trends that build East Africa’s ventures. At the time, the summit looks forward to providing a platform for sharing experiences of getting around problems that have curtailed seamless digital transformation.

IDC’s Group Vice President and Regional Manager Director for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa, Jyoti Lalchandani stresses the group has been actively pursuing better management of the ICT industry in its regions of operation.

The VP is set to launch the summit’s order of business with a keynote address titled ‘Developing the New IT Capabilities for Digital Transformation.’ Executives in attendance will discuss the following topics:
