The upcoming TECNO Phantom 8 leaks are not slowing down and the latest to hit our inbox is one that purports that the new Phantom is a “thing of pure beauty.” According to the leak in our possession, the Phantom 8 features a slick, luxury design that “radiates light and has been developed with extreme precision.” Phantom 8’s design is said to exude elite fashion, “so you can be truly proud to take your pocket’s new best friend anywhere you go.”
What we know so far regarding the design is, it’s a metallic unibody slab that has a glass-like texture and apparently shines bright like a Diamond. We have an exclusive image of the actual device, there’s nothing much to it since the quality of the image itself is of low quality, but it shows the back of the phone and what we now know are the dual cameras for 2x zoom and a rear-mounted fingerprint reader.
We also know that there will be two variants of the Phantom 8, a 5.5-inch model and a 6-inch model. Both devices are said to have the dual cameras, 6GB RAM, Android 7.0 Nougat and a similar design. The differences come in the processor, where the smaller Phantom will have a Helio P25 Octa-Core processor and the larger one will have a more powerful 10nm Helio X30 processor.
There are suggestions that the smaller Phantom may have a plastic finish and a less spec’d front camera maxing out at 8MP compared to the 20MP lens on the 6-inch variant. For TECNO fans, the official unveiling of the Phantom 8 is right around the corner, so let’s wait and see which of the leaks we have received so far, materialize.
