For the past week or so, TECNO Mobile have been all over teasing their upcoming flagship device, the Phantom 8. Back in July, we got an exclusive leak that revealed the design of the upcoming Phantom 8, however, back then we thought it would be named the Phantom 7. As for the design, we saw an iPhonesque design, with dual cameras at the back, metallic or glass unibody and a 5.5-inch full HD display.
Well, today we received more information on the cameras of the Phantom 8, that is, the dual cameras as well as the selfie shooter. According to information obtained from an internal source, the new Phantom is supposed to make taking photos easier and much more professional. The material in our possession claims that the Phantom 8 will pack an advanced light assist feature that will help take pro photos even in a very dark environment, it quotes “To put it simply, the camera shoots exactly what you see!”
That is a bold claim, that we hope the Phantom 8 can back up. The Dual cameras are said to be a combination of a 13MP lens and a 5MP lens, information that you should take with a pinch of salt but something we are sure of is, the second camera will be used for 2x zoom. The front camera is a 20MP shooter that is complemented by dual front ring flash.
The TECNO Phantom 8 is set to be launched in Dubai on October 22, which is less than a week away, so TECNO fans, start saving up.
