There is no denying that Chinese technology corporation Huawei has made notable contributions in Kenya as far as technological advancements are concerned. The Enterprise Division of the world’s largest communication equipment manufacturer will seek to cement its local position by staging a joint summit with Redington Group later today. The meet will coincide with a period when businesses across the globe are starting to see the outcome of a possible 4th industrial revolution, with rapid developments in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and 5G, to mention a few.
It should be remembered that sometime in 2018, Huawei Enterprise and Redington signed a Framework Distribution Agreement in Kenya, which marked a key partnership and Redington’s role in distributing Huawei products and services. Such partnerships, among other deals, have pushed the corporation’s presence and acceleration of ICT development in the country.
Today’s summit looks forward to offering an opportunity for business leaders, opinion leaders, partners, and industry visionaries to discuss what the industry has in place for 2019. At the same time, the forum targets to amplify these partnership.
