The “Me Explaining” memes have been trending and has become our favourite meme the past few days. Th meme combines two reaction images to make one meme that shows the difficulty of explaining something to someone. The origin of the meme is from YouTuber Quelin Blackwell. In the first image on the left is a still image from her viral video where she screams her heart out and the other image on the right is from Shirlene “Ms.Juicy” King Pearson from the show Little Women: Atlanta. Ms Juicy is a popular meme queen and in this photo from her Instagram post where she looks so confused.

The combined images convey both a relatable parenting mood and our existential crises, meltdowns, and fandom woes and the tweets did not disappoint.
Being a parent means there are times when a weight is placed on your shoulders you never thought you could bear. But you do. As an example, the other day my kid spent 57 unbroken minutes explaining who James Charles is and why he’s losing YouTube subscribers.
