Twitter has been teasing us about the tweet scheduling feature for a couple of months now. This feature has begun rolling out to users.
Scheduling tweets has been a key feature among others for Tweetdeck, a third-party Twitter client the social network bought in 2011 for $40 million.
For social media managers and brand managers, tweet scheduling is a key component of their jobs and this feature becoming native to Twitter will come in handy when making announcements or sharing links to news articles.
The scheduling feature can be found by clicking the three-dot icon
Clicking on it reveals the Schedule button
With this feature, you can now schedule tweets to be posted at a specific date and time.
There’s even a scheduling window that lets you view all your scheduled tweets.
You can also access and edit the scheduled tweets right from the tweet composer.
It is worth noting, Twitter is doing slow public rollout so be patient if you don’t have this feature yet.
