Safaricom Brings Huawei Y5p in Stores for KES 10200

Huawei, with its problems that started in mid-2019 after being making an appearance in the Entity List in the US, has not slowed down churning out devices for its customers.

The majority of new releases, especially low- to mid-range smartphones make their way to Kenya because the market loves the devices for what they bring to the table.

The Y5p was released alongside the likes of the Y6p and Y7p a few months ago.

The Y5p, which is the cheapest of the trio, is being distributed by carrier Safaricom.

Customers who purchase their devices from the operator can walk into any Safaricom Shop or check out Masoko for the handheld.
