vivo, the Chinese smartphone giant has announced a new entrant in their Y-Series phones to the Kenyan market, the vivo Y20s.

The vivo Y20s sports a 6.51 inch “Halo FullView Display” with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels with an aspect ratio of 20:9. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 and has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which is quite typical of the phones at tthis price.
The cameras are also what you would expect from a phone at this price. There is a 13MP main camera with a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor. vivo says the main camera has AI features and the cameras support face beauty, portrait light effects and filters. The selfie camera is a 8MP sensor with a f/1.8 aperture. The main and primary cameras can shoot at a maximum of 1080p at 30fps.
The star of the show is the battery capacity of the Y20s. It has a huge 5000mAh battery which will guarantee it outstanding battery life on paper thanks to the relatively efficient Snapdragon 460 processor and that 720p screen. It also supports 18W fast charging if you need to top it up fast.
vivo says that the Y20s will be available from today in two colours: Purist blue and Obsidian black. It will retail for Kshs 20,999.
