Huawei Mobile Kenya will be launching Huawei Band 6 in the market. This comes at a time when there is a huge demand for wearable devices with a focus on fitness.
This is a budget fitness band that joins the company’s portfolio of wearables available in the country.
The Huawei Band 6 is a watered-down version of the Huawei Watch Fit and comes missing the GPS tracking feature. The Huawei Band 6 is compact and light and brings with it a tall 1.47′ AMOLED screen.
LiteOS powers the Band 6 and Huawei’s fitness and health tracking features such as all-day heart rate, Sp02 monitoring (oxygen), your body’s overall conditioning, stress and sleep tracking.
You’ll see a three-ring activity system that allows you to have goals for activities like time spent standing, exercise hours and calories burned.
Workouts supported include skating, walking, running, cycling, belly dancing, dart throwing and swimming.
Music playback controls are available on Band 6 together with the ability to set alarms and view weather forecasts.
The Huawei health app gives access to your performance in charts and detailed breakdowns.
Pricing and Availbility
Huawei Band 6 will be available for pre-order on 12th July and will officially go on sale on 22nd July in all Huawei retail stores across the country.
