Asus Vivobook 13 Slate OLED has officially been announced. Asus made the announcement in an online launch of the tablet that comes with a detachable keyboard.
The detachable two-in-one device features a 13.3″ Full HD OLED screen with an aspect ratio of 16:9, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage and 550-nits brightness.
The screen is DisplayHDR True Black 500 certified which means you’ll enjoy binge-watching HDR content.
You will also be getting a full-size detachable keyboard and magnetic back cover with a kickstand so you can use the tablet in either landscape or portrait orientation. It’s worth noting that the adjustable stand has a 170 -degree hinge.
Asus Pen 2.0 also comes bundled with the new device. The stylus uses Microsoft Pen Protocol 2.0 and you get four interchangeable pen tips. The pen has up to 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity and charges via USB-C.
It is also Bluetooth enabled to help when you’re taking screenshots.
Creators will love the free month of Adobe Creative Cloud that Asus offers when you purchase the Vivobook Slate.
The Asus Vivobook 13 Slate OLED comes running Windows 11 straight out of the box. Powering the device is a quad-core Intel Pentium Silver N6000 processor coupled with 128GB eMMC storage and 4GB of RAM.
You can choose to pick one with 8GB RAM, 128 or 256GB PCIe storage option.
For optics, we have a 5MP front-facing camera for video chats plus a rear 13MP camera.
The Asus Vivobook 13 Slate OLED ships with quad speakers that feature Dolby Atmos Support and noise-cancelling mics to enhance video calls.
For ports, you are getting two USB-C ports, a microSD card slot, and a headphone jack. Asus embedded a fingerprint reader on the power button for bio-authentication.
Asus says that the Vivobook Slate supports fast charging and you’ll juice up the 50Wh battery to 60% charge in 39 minutes.
There’s also a free month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate included.
Artist Editions of the Vivobook Slate are also available. Asus partnered up with Philip Colbert and Steven Harrington to design two versions of the Vivobook Slate and will roll out in early next year.
The regular Asus Vivobook 13 Slate OLED will be available later in December and cost $600.
