The most anticipated smartphone of 2022 – at least in the Android world – is going to launch just before Valentine.
Samsung Galaxy S22 series and the Galaxy Tab S8 will be unveiled on February 9th from 6 PM Kenyan Time(10 AM ET/7 AM PT).
This revelation was made thanks to a Google Calendar link invite under code in Samsung’s dedicated Unpacked events website.

The S22 series will have the base S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra(S22 Note). They’ll feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 processors, 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED screens(1300 nits) with HDR10+ at 6″, 6.55″, 6.8″, One UI 4, Android 12, 8GB RAM and either 128GB or 256GB storage or 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, 50MP wide, 10MP telephoto, 12MP ultrawide, 8K 24fps, 4K 30/60fps video for rear and selfie videos, and 10MP selfie cameras.
The Ultra will have a 108MP setup and a 40MP selfie camera. Samsung S22 Ultra will have an S Pen.
4000mAh, 4800mAh and 5000mAh batteries with Type-C 3.2 will power the series respectively.
European pricing details have already been leaked and the S22 series will begin selling from €849 for the base model 8/128GB variant all the way up to €1499 for the S22 Ultra 12/256GB version.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Series will go on preorder soon after the launch around February 14th and then go on sale around February 25th.
