While OPPO is gatekeeping the just launched Find X6 Pro in China, we are expecting the company to launch the OPPO A98 globally and that includes Kenya as well.
OPPO A98 will have a 6.7″ LCD screen with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refrsh rate just like the midrange Reno8 T which was early this year but had an AMOLED screen.
It will be powered by Snapdragon 695 chipset with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. We expect upto 8GB of virtual RAM as well courtesy of ColorOS 13. It will run Android 13 straight out of the box.
For cameras, the OPPO A98 will sport a 64MP main instead of the 108MP of the Reno8 T. The complementar cameras stay the same as we get a 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor. We also have a 32MP selfie camera.

OPPO A98 will have a 5000mAh battery and support for 67W fast charging.
Colour options will include Cool Black and Dreamy Blue.
